Background
As a translation agency Dynatext Oy has at its core translation operations and provision of translation services. Communication is the driving force of the translation agency and
translation operations. Communication makes translations alive and brings value added to the operations of customers. In its capacity as a translation agency Dynatext Oy therefore focuses on
translations powered by communication.
When Dynatext Oy was established in 1985 the company’s business idea was to
introduce state-of-the-art competence and focus on translations powered by
the ideas and tools of communication. Our central objective was to maximise
the sphere and availability of translations and translation related services
in order to cater for both the general and the more specified needs of a
wide variety of customers.
Year 1987 brought along DTP (i.e. Desktop Publishing) and sales of DTP equipment. In the
course of the years decision was made to focus increasingly on versatile and advanced translation services and related skills and, therefore, equipment sales were gradually ended.
The 1990´s brought along the Internet and e-mail and in recent years their significance has grown rapidly since the majority of our translators work on the principle of remote work and a constantly increasing number of our customers wish to make use of the new Internet and e-mail technology.
Many of Finland´s largest companies and corporations have been our customers. The company
has also had several small and medium-sized enterprises (SME companies) and private individuals as customers with translation themes
ranging from brochures and contracts to CVs, school, university and work
certificates, often certified and stamped by an Authorised Translator. In
the course of our
company history so far we have also completed assignments for several international companies.
